DT 701 – Church & Sacraments
An examination of the biblical language, imagery, and theology of the Church (i.e., Ecclesiology) laying the foundation for a consideration of what has been described as the great “notes” or marks of the Church: One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic. The course also examines the two dominical sacraments of the Church, with primary emphasis on their meaning, number, and recipients, as well as the history and use of the so-called “lesser sacraments” in the Anglican tradition.
